The Parents' Association of Calasanctius College are hosting a

Big Breakfast on Bank Holiday Sunday May 4th

in the College Canteen open to all the community

Bring the family along for a great morning full of fun,

music, spot prizes, and a fantastic breakfast served up to you

all at a very reasonable price. Keep the date open

and watch out for more info in the local press

All monies raised are going to much needed school resources

Boys Soccer Record Historic Win:

Congratulations to our U-15 boys soccer team who beat St. Endas 2-1

in the Connaught final in Mervue on Monday 24th March

The team have created Calasanctius history in becoming the first

team to win a boys soccer Connaught Championship

The now move forward to compete in the All-Ireland semi final

on Thursday 27th March 


Congratulations also to our 1st year boys soccer team who won

the Connaught semi-final against Kiltimagh on 

Wednesday 26th March beating the Mayo team 2-1



All Ireland Basketball Win:

Congratulations to our U-16 Boys Basketball team who won

the All Ireland League Championship beating Summerhill College,

Sligo, 70-46 on Thursday 20th March



Junior Hurling Connaught Success:

Congratulations to our Junior Hurling team who beat St. Cuans

Castleblakeney 2:15 - 0:3 to win the Connaught championship

in Kenny Park, Athenry, Wednesday 19th March



Careers Day:

The Parents' Association recently organised a very successful

Our School

Calasanctius College Oranmore is a co-educational college, which caters for the needs of the local community. The students come from Oranmore and surrounding areas, including Maree, Carnmore, Claregalway, Clarenbridge, Kilcolgan and the south side of Galway City. The students come from very different backgrounds, both socially and economically, ranging from farming, self-employed, unemployed, business, and professional. The majority of students intend to carry on to third level.

The ambition of the school is to ensure that all members of the school community are given the best opportunity to achieve their potential in a happy, caring and supportive environment” The beautiful school building overlooking Galway Bay was opened in 2006 and accommodates approximately 800 students. Facilities include modern state of the art Science laboratories, material technology rooms, technical graphics rooms home economic rooms a music room, a full size sports hall and a fully equipped exercise gymnasium and modern canteen and performance area.
