Calasanctius College celebrated a very successful Lá Sláinte. Students enjoyed many events and activities throughout the day. We had nutrition talks, a cinema trip, Wellbeing Workshops with Adrian Varley and the ice-cream truck even made an appearance along with the sunshine! During lunchtime, students engaged in various activities both inside and outside the classroom, made possible only by the volunteerism of staff to support and faciliate this great initiative. In the spirit of activity and wellbeing, we all donned our jerseys in aid of the non-uniform day fundraiser for a local charity Izzy's Fight. Many thanks to all who contributed so generously to this worthy cause. Congratulations to all the prize winners on the day. A huge word of thanks and acknowledgement to Ms Gilsenan and her Headstrong team who have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks in the organisation of today, their enthusiasm and positivity has been infectious throughout the school!
